St. Mary's participates in Special Olympics with Softball, Basketball, Bocce', Track & Field, and Bowling. In 2017, fourteen Bocce' Teams & a Track & Field Team are preparing for the Special Olympics Summer Games in June! Games are held at EKU in Richmond KY. |
Annual St. Mary’s / East End Basketball Tournament
The annual St. Mary’s / East End Basketball Tournament is one of the largest basketball tournaments for players with disabilities in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Tournament’s motto is “Everyone plays. Everyone wins.”
St. Mary’s would like to thank all the volunteers, including the official KBOA referees, who come out, give of their time, and help at our event. We also owe a sincere thanks to the facilities that allow us to use their gyms and to the volunteer tournament gym managers for their assistance in making this annual basketball tournament a success Our tournament takes place on the first Saturday of February. If you are looking for a fun way to get involved, we always need volunteers to help with the concession stands, keep score, run the game clock and more.
